CONCILIATION
Conciliation is a highly flexible process particularly suited to complex, multi-party disputes in which the conciliator or conciliation team plays a pro-active role to bring about a settlement
Conciliation is:
- not subject to formal rules
- without prejudice
- confidential to each of the parties and to the conciliators to the extent agreed by the parties
- continuing willingness to conciliate
- not binding but is intended to lead to a binding agreement
